Clark County READS is an initiative of The
Public Education Foundation, in partnership with Clark
County, Clark County School
District, and Las Vegas
Chamber of Commerce. The support of our partners is
most appreciated and is critical to the success of Clark
County READS.

Since the launch of Clark County READS
in 2001, many individuals, organizations, and corporations
have donated time and money to help us build a more
literate community.
Major donors to our Library Enhancement
Program have included KLAS TV-8
and the Community Pride Partners, Wells
Fargo, and Ronald McDonald
House Charities. In addition, we often receive
donations and/or discounts from the following book
publishers: Follett Library
Resources, Capstone Press,
Compass Point Books, Picture
Window Books, and Houghton
Mifflin.
Las Vegas Review Journal and the
View Neighborhood Newspapers
generously donate ad space to help Clark County READS
recruit volunteers for our Reading Partner Program. A
special thank you also goes out to all of our reading
volunteers for the time and energy they give to our
program!
A grant from the Department of
Education, administered through Reading
Is Fundamental, Inc., pays for 75% of book costs
for our Reading Is Fundamental book distribution program.
A generous grant from MGM Mirage
Voice Foundation covers the remaining book costs.
Though we are not able to mention all
of our donors and friends on this page, we do appreciate
each and every one of them. Every donation— no matter
the size— helps us in the fight against illiteracy.
